Starting in 2025, we’ve distinguished clubs into two different types:

Club Type Definition
Club A student organization with a clearly defined membership (open to the general student body), that meets regularly in person, that addresses a specific need/purpose within a community, and that actively works towards specific goals set by its members.
Non-Club Student Organization (NCSO) A student organization that, due to its unique nature, does not possess one or more of the defined characteristics of a club. NCSO designations will be made at the beginning of each year, in consultation with the organizations seeking this status. These organizations will be evaluated on an agreed upon modified rubric.

As you go through the main database, clubs that are NCSOs will be identified within the Categories section. Modified rubrics will become available in mid-year/end-of-year reports for the 2025-2026 school year and onwards.
